Size: 1¼ - 2 in.

• The Gray Treefrog is the only true treefrog found in WNY.
• Usually found in small trees & shrubs near or in standing water
• Although they physically look the same, Hyla versicolor has twice the chromosomes as Hyla chrysoscelis
• Color variable but usually gray or green
• Look for light spot below eye and undersides of hind legs bright orange or yellow
